When choosing what goes into JoEve products, I carefully select ingredients that have known health benefits for both the body and the mind. There is no animal testing carried out and the ingredients are sourced from natural botanicals. All Scents are natural scents derived from various Essential Oils which in particular helps prevent my sensitive skin from flaring up. I wanted to create products that not only smell great but didn't cause outbreaks, rashes and itching that I experienced using chemical shop products. The main ingredient I found that was causing problems for my skin was called 'Parfum' or 'Fragrance', these are an undisclosed mixture of chemical ingredients used for fragrancing products, when I say undisclosed I me...
Back in August I sent some products to the lovely Lee-Ann (Beaming Lily) to review. Lily is a Beauty Blogger who has been blogging in the UK the last 5 years. Beauty is the main topic Lily blogs about but she has branched out to lifestyle blogging too. The main reason I chose Lily to test my products is because her opinions seem really honest and I like how she has such a positive attitude and aura that is portrayed through her blog and her other social media platforms.
So far this year I have had a few opportunities to take my Products to Market and also had a lovely opportunity with LLoyds Bank.
Earlier this year I had the privilege to sell my products at Lloyds Bank branch in Wimbledon. This was my first time getting my products out to the public while also donating a percentage of my profits to Cancer Research UK. This Charity is something that is close to many peoples heart and I felt very fortunate to play a part with raising money and also introducing some of my products to people familiar with Cancer related illnesses as a lot of the benefits promoted from my products have a positive effect on ones well being. It was a lovely couple of days all round and the feedback only pushed me to co...
Before starting this blog I feel the need to state the obvious – whilst these product were kindly sent to me from the company the opinions I give are all my own. I wouldn’t write a positive review on products I actually don’t like.
A little while ago now I got in contact with the company Jo Eve Bath&Body (Facebook) (Instagram) who make the cutest products. They sent me a few to review and seeing as they arrived this week I thought I’d dedicate this post to the brand. Sharing a little first impressions about what I think about the company and their products. In my little parcel, I received a rose body scrub, a poppy seed soap in the rose scent and a cute little rose bath bomb. As you can imagine my entire room now smells...
I hope you’re all warm and well! Nothing quite beats a nice relaxing bath after a long week right? So I snazzed up my bath time with some new goodies from Jo Eve Body. I was pretty excited for the postman to come so I could give the products a whirl ! All these products are handmade which to me, makes them extra special. All the products are packaged so beautifully and there’s a big range to chose from!
Lavender soy wax candle
Being completely honest, this candle has a really overwhelming lavender scent in the tin and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but once the candle was lit the scent was less intense and filled the room with a gentle aroma and it was quite pleasant, especially around bed time. I’ve burned...
Exfoliating is an under rated form of skincare and we can sometimes skip this important step in total bodycare, exfoliating increases circulation, improves appearance of cellulite and brings new softer skin to the surface and gets rid of any dull dead skin cells. After applying the scrub in gentle circular motions slowly finish with slow light strokes towards the direction of the heart for full affect. Drink plenty of water following a scrub treatment as this helps flush the toxins out of the body that contribute to the build up of cellulite.
